TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Governing Law: Laws of Jamaica
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the use of the package forwarding and related logistics services (“Services”) provided by Avrynco Jamaica Limited (“the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to any customer (“Client,” “Customer,” or “you”). By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
The Company provides:
A foreign or local mailing address for receiving packages on the Customer’s behalf.
Package forwarding to Jamaica or within Jamaica.
Optional services including consolidation, packaging, storage, notifications, customs processing assistance, and delivery.
The Company is not a carrier and partners with third-party couriers, shipping lines, and logistics providers.
The Customer agrees to:
2.1 Provide accurate personal information, including name, address, email, and TRN (Tax Registration Number).
2.2 Ensure all shipments sent to our warehouse include the correct customer identification number.
2.3 Pay all shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, and service charges.
2.4 Comply with Jamaican laws regarding the importation of goods.
2.5 Ensure goods ordered are lawful, safe, and not restricted or prohibited.
The Customer is fully responsible for the contents of all packages.
The Customer shall not ship items prohibited under Jamaican law, including but not limited to:
Firearms, ammunition, and weapon parts
Explosives or flammable materials
Illegal drugs or controlled substances
Counterfeit goods
Perishable items
Hazardous chemicals
Live plants or animals
Items requiring special licensing unless such documentation is provided
The Company may refuse shipment or report unlawful items to authorities.
4.1 All imports into Jamaica are subject to Customs duties, fees, and GCT as determined by the Jamaica Customs Agency.
4.2 The Customer is solely responsible for all charges assessed by Customs.
4.3 Shipping fees do not include Customs charges unless otherwise stated.
4.4 Customs delays are beyond the Company’s control.
5.1 Transit times are estimates and not guaranteed.
5.2 The Company is not liable for delays caused by weather, Customs, carrier issues, or force majeure events.
5.3 Delivery to the Customer occurs once the package is handed to the carrier or collected at the Company’s office.
To comply with security, Customs regulations, and quality control, the Company reserves the right to:
Inspect any package received
Open packages if required by law or safety concerns
Refuse shipments deemed unsafe or non-compliant
7.1 The Company is not responsible for damage or loss occurring before packages arrive at our warehouse or after they are handed over to third-party carriers.
7.2 Customers may purchase optional insurance where available.
7.3 Without insurance, compensation is limited to the warehouse handling fee (if applicable).
7.4 The Company is not liable for:
Manufacturer defects
Items damaged due to poor packaging by the sender
Missing components if the package arrived unsealed or tampered with by carrier
8.1 Packages will be held free of charge for 4 days.
8.2 After that period, storage fees apply.
8.3 Packages unclaimed after 4 days may be disposed of or returned at Customer’s expense.
The Customer agrees to pay all applicable:
Local delivery fees
International freight charges
Handling fees
Consolidation or repackaging costs
Storage fees
Customs duties and taxes
All payments must be completed before release of goods.
The Company may suspend or terminate a Customer’s account for:
Fraudulent activity
Shipping prohibited items
Abuse or misconduct
Non-payment of fees
Providing false information
Any outstanding balances must be settled upon termination.
To the fullest extent permitted under Jamaican law:
11.1 The Company’s liability is limited to direct damages only, not exceeding the amount paid for the specific service.
11.2 The Company is not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
11.3 All Services are provided “as is” without warranties.
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or legal issues arising from:
Misuse of the Services
Importing prohibited items
False declarations
Violations of Jamaican Customs regulations
Customer negligence or unlawful acts
The Company collects personal information such as name, address, contact details, and TRN for service delivery.
We do not sell or disclose personal data except where required by Jamaican law or logistics partners involved in processing shipments.
The Company may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of changes.
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
